A lesson about curves

Ryon Edwards, 22, came up with a novel way of amusing himself during the storm: firing bullets into it. The idea caught on. After 50'000 people have on facebook expressed interest in such a shooting event, Florida police quickly warned people not to fire their weapons at Hurricane Irma however:
"To clarify, DO NOT shoot weapons @ #Irma. You won't make it turn around & it will have very dangerous side effects," the Pasco Sheriff's office tweeted.
As the graphics suggests, it might be possible that the bullet gets thrown back.
The story was pushed at many places and became viral: like: USA Today, The telegraph, CNBC, Newsweek or Source
