Project Overview
Updated. Jul 14, 2001. This recital site was created for (and by) the classics teaching staff at Harvard to help students grasp the vital performative aspect of ancient literature. Selections were chosen because of their inclusion in various Harvard introductory-level language courses, as an aid to pronunciation and meter.

I deeply thank all the professorial 'guinea pigs' below for their cheerful willingness to be poked and prodded with all manner of recording equipment. Though the site will not undergo any major revisions, I will continue to update the page occasionally from my new post at Trinity University.
