Rachel St. John (Harvard University)


Rachel St. John is an Assistant Professor of History at Harvard, where she is currently teaching classes on the American West and the place of regions in U.S. history. Her interests include nineteenth and twentieth-century United States history with a particular emphasis on the North American West and transnational borderlands history. She is currently working on a history of the western U.S.-Mexico border and the development of national power and identities between 1848 and the early 1930s.
