In the Spotlight...  

Week of May 13, 2002
With a 9-8 victory over Johns Hopkins on Sunday, Harvard captured the ECAC Championship Title. Harvard finished strong in the final stretch winning 5 of its last 6 games to gain a berth to the ECAC Finals.

Congratulations to the five seniors, Melissa Christino, Heather Gotha, Erin Kutner, and co-captains Heather Hussey and Hilary Walton, on a great season and a fantastic finish to their careers. With 19 players returning, they have created a wonderful foundation for next year's team.

5/12/02 - Harvard (9-7, 2-5 Ivy) captures the ECAC Championship with a 9-8 win in Baltimore over Johns Hopkins.

5/10/02 - Ivy League Women's Lacrosse All-Ivy Teams Announced Shaughnessy, Kutner, Gotha earn honors .

5/1/02 - Harvard (8-7, 2-5 Ivy) beats Brown in overtime, 11-10, to secure a winning season.

4/27/02 - Harvard (7-7, 1-5 Ivy) loses a heartbreaker to Cornell, 8-9.

4/24/02 - Harvard (7-6, 1-4 Ivy) dominated UNH in a 8-5 win.

4/21/02 - Harvard (6-6, 1-4 Ivy) sends California packing, 11-2.

4/20/02 - Harvard (5-6, 1-4 Ivy) wins in NY over Columbia, 16-11.
